This first program takes place in the Nor-Occident of Ecuador hosted by
the "Municipality of Pedro Vicente Maldonado" and Authorities
of "San Vicente de Andoas"; over a duration of 16 hours
separated into 4 modules for each town: |
INKA stepped on Ecuadorian soil for the first time on the 19th of April of 2008; it was a day that will be remembered as the "Wheelbarrow or the Train"

INKA IN THE NOR OCCIDENT OF ECUADOR 01 June 2008 INKA's first project was concluded the 1st of June 2008. INKA congregated in san Vicente de Andoas and in Pedro Vicente Maldonado: teachers, community leaders from different areas of the Nor-Occident of the Pichincha Province. We have received requests of children asking INKA "come back", they saw a brighter future next to us , we have lived the day by day their needs... An advance method of education for their children, for their communities is desperately needed. We aim to be back soon bringing with us the help that is so much asked for the development of a an advanced education. (For teachers, for the rural communities, for the children) Our future projects consist in delivering training for teachers, and communities, with strategic plans to avoid vulnerability: (generic, environmental and social) When I say community, children are part of it. Our plan is to work next to the "grown up community and the young community" We aim to deliver to the children as part of our strategic plan, workshops with professional trainers in the areas of: Artistic Art, Dramatic art, Music, Dancing. Children are pushed to grow up prematurely as adults due the circumstances and the luck of options. "We can discover new talents" and for that is necessary your help and an educated grown up community. |
